OUR PAST TEAM OF COACHES
JANINE WEBER
A perennial NWHL All-Star and current member of the Connecticut Whale, Janine was a founding player in the inaugural NWHL season with the NY Riveters. A member of the Austrian national and Olympic teams, Janine has competed in 10 World Championships.
JAMES MELLO
As co-owner of RI Hockey Academy, James specializes in goaltending instruction and one-on-one skill development. James starred as a Rhode Island high school goaltender at LaSalle Academy before heading to Dartmouth, where he is a member of the college's Athletic Hall of Fame
With over 25 years of pro hockey experience, Toby has served in roles ranging from president to head coach, general manager to scouting director and player personnel coordinator.
